Ted Cruz Joins With Biden to Foment World War 3

Texas Senator Ted Cruz already showed his establishment colors on January 5, 2021 when he called the January 6 protestors who “terrorists.”

As if Ted Cruz’s descent into establishment idiocy wasn’t enough when he adopted the regime’s prevailing narrative on January 6, he took it another level by criticizing the Biden administration for its alleged plan to reduce American troops in Eastern Europe.

The Texas Senator tweeted, “Unbelievable, and not just because of the timing. If Biden was trying to signal weakness & surrender to Putin, what would he be doing differently?”

According to a report by Courtney Kube, Dan De Luce, Carol E. Lee and Andrea Mitchell at NBC News, the Biden administration is proceeding to enter talks with Russia about scaling back both U.S. and Russia troop deployments and military drills in Eastern Europe. Read more…

Why War Over Taiwan is an Insane Idea

In his excellent little book “The Rise of China vs. the Logic of Strategy,” Edward Luttwak shows how much the Chinese, and especially the country’s leadership, value their classic literature. Apart from Confucius’s “Analects,” there is perhaps no more famous or beloved Chinese book than Sun Tzu’s “Art of War.”

One of Sun Tzu’s most famous aphorisms is “To win without fighting is best.” Another goes something like this (translations vary widely): To destroy the enemy is not the acme of skill; to capture intact the enemy’s state, army, ship, city, fortress- that is the acme of skill.”

These two sentiments sum up Chinese strategy on Hong Kong and, as we shall see, Taiwan…

Every country in the world cares more about its own front yard than do countries half a world away. This is why it was so reckless of the USSR to try to place missiles in Cuba, and why it’s also reckless of the United States to needle Russia over Ukraine. One can utterly condemn Russian behavior in the Donbass, or China’s in the Taiwan Strait, and still see that those countries are more likely than not to fight over issues and regions that they see as vital to themselves but peripheral to us. Why Biden Will Reject Russia’s Peace Offer

On December 17th, Russia presented America with a proposed peace-settlement that would empower the U.N. to be not only nominally but in reality the one-and-only body that can create international laws…

“The United States is and remains the one indispensable nation.”

In short: all other nations are “dispensable”, and all rising and competing less-wealthy nations are enemies to whom “your generation’s task” is “to respond” (militarily) to that economic competition, from such ‘enemies’…

U.S.-and-allied arms-manufacturers will no doubt be terrified that their decades-long gravy trains are finally being seriously challenged, and the billionaires who are riding those trains will be doing everything they possibly can to continue the current direction of those trains, ever-closer toward WW III (and ever-bigger arms-sales). Biden Just Committed to WW3 Over Taiwan

Apparently the commander-in-chief thinks that the United States has some kind of treaty or “commitment” to defend Taiwan in the scenario of an attack from China.

There is absolutely no commitment to do such a thing, but the casualness with which Joe Biden at last night’s 90-minute CNN town hall pledged that he’s ready to send young American men and women to die over an island in the Western Pacific is staggering and hugely alarming.

A Loyola student asked what President Biden would do to “keep up with China militarily” after reports of testing a hypersonic missile, and “what can you do to protect Taiwan?”

“Yes and Yes,” the president answered. Read more…

Pentagon Bigwig: We Have “No Chance Against China”

The Pentagon’s former chief software officer resigned in protest earlier this month, citing refusal on the part of the American federal government to develop cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and machine learning capabilities that can credibly compete with Chinese programs.

Nicolas Chaillan had served as the Pentagon’s cyber czar since 2018, when he was appointed by President Trump. The French software developer, who has extensive experience working with governments and private corporations, has pointed to the American military-industrial system as beset by stagnation and endless bureaucracy

“We are setting up critical infrastructure to fail,” said Chaillan in a September resignation letter. “We would not put a pilot in the cockpit without extensive flight training; why would we expect someone with no IT experience to be close to successful? While we wasted time in bureaucracy, our adversaries moved further ahead.” Read more…

Taiwan War Suddenly Becomes Very Likely

Taiwan has been in the news a lot lately, and it’s really bringing out the crazy in people.

The mass media have been falsely reporting that China has been encroaching on Taiwan’s “air defense zone”, which gets stretched into the even more ludicrous claim that China “sent warplanes flying over Taiwan”. In reality Chinese planes simply entered an arbitrarily designated area hundreds of miles from Taiwan’s coast it calls its “Air Defence Identification Zone”, which has no legally recognized existence and contains a significant portion of China’s mainland. This is likely a response to the way the US and its allies have been constantly sailing war ships into disputed waters to threaten Beijing.

As Moon of Alabama reports, US warmongers inflamed this non-controversy even further by feeding a story to the press about the already public information that there are American troops in Taiwan training the military there, citing “concern” about the danger posed by China. Read more…

Man Who Saved Biden in ’08 Still Trapped in Afghanistan

Top White House officials are promising to get an Afghan interpreter who remains in Afghanistan out of the country.

The interpreter, who was identified only by his first name of Mohammed, helped rescue then-Sen. Joe Biden and two other U.S. lawmakers when their helicopter made an emergency landing in the Afghanistan mountains in 2008.

Mohammed is stuck in the Taliban-held country after U.S. troops withdrew on Aug. 30. He appealed to Biden for help.

“Hello Mr. President: Save me and my family,” Mohammed told The Wall Street Journal. “Don’t forget me here.” Read more…

Military Dogs Abandoned in Afghanistan Face Death, or Worse

The Biden regime left behind its contracted working dogs in Afghanistan to “die or worse” according to an animal welfare group concerned with the abandonment of hundreds or thousands of military dogs.

“American citizens and Afghan allies weren’t all the Biden administration left behind in its retreat from Afghanistan. The U.S. military abandoned its contracted working dogs, according to a statement Monday night by a major animal-welfare group,” reported the Washington Times. Read more…

Embassy Warned Biden Before Kabul Attack

The Joe Biden regime stood by as 13 members of the United States military and over 160 Afghan people were killed in a suicide bombing attack on the airport in Kabul, Afghanistan on August 26, days after the U.S. Embassy in Kabul issued an alert about “potential security threats outside the gates at the Kabul airport.” The Washington Post has reported that the Biden administration allowed the Taliban to assume control of the city of Kabul prior to the terrorist attack. North Korea Goes for the Bomb

Evidence has emerged that Kim Jong Un’s North Korean regime is again using its Yongbyon nuclear reactor that produces plutonium, according to the United Nation’s atomic agency. That reactor became non-operational during President Donald Trump’s presidency, when Trump took a hardline stance against North Korea and gained concessions from Jong Un (whom he called “Little Rocket Man”) while avoiding nuclear war. But the North Koreans clearly do not have the same respect for Biden’s regime that they showed to President Trump, and now “Sleepy Joe” Biden is presiding over another potential crisis. Read more…
