A 21-year-old Amazon delivery driver named Itzel Ramirez has been arrested in Castro Valley, California after video footage showed her repeatedly punching a 67-year-old woman in the head. According to witnesses, Ramirez yelled at the victim about her “white privilege” before attacking her.
While Ramirez claims the attack was in “self defense,” footage of the incident affirms police’s allegations that the barrage of punches she hurled at the elderly victim were unprovoked. Even when the victim is covered up in a defensive posture with her arms held up to protect her head, the Amazon driver continues raining down blows.
Apartment complex owner Doug Smith told KVTU, “I believe the Amazon driver said something about ‘your white privilege,’ and my tenant said, ‘You don’t need to be a b*tch about it,’ turned around and walked away.” Read more…
